Eben Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd was established in 2016, which aims to bring cost effective business solutions to customers ranging from SMME (Small to medium enterprises) to corporate companies and government departments. As companies become more cost competitive, outsourcing is seen as an option, however business management services are expensive. Thus companies tend to use consultants for a short period and only gain head knowledge in the form of a report with recommendations. Companies often lack the experience and time to execute recommendations from these consultants effectively. Companies are exceptional in their trade, however when business processes and best practices (visual management and decision making tools) are not operational, it becomes difficult to expand and diversify, as the market changes.
As the name “EBEN” means “stone of hope”, that is the heart of Eben Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd. It is to see customers achieve their goals, eliminate waste and operate sustainably. Management coaching, integrated project management and sound economic evaluation are enablers to any successful business project; either continuous improvement, compliance or growth related.

VISION
Eben Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd aims to bring cost effective business solutions to customers ranging from SMME’s (Small to medium enterprises) to consulting and corporate companies and government departments.
· Our vision in the SME sector is to see these companies using best business practices so that they can start to expand and at the same time coach their suppliers in utilizing best practices.
· Our vision in consulting and corporate companies is to provide value added services during times when resources are unavailable. Identify opportunities within their organization, systems and with their suppliers where there is duplication and waste.
· Our vision in the government departments is to see them improve on their service delivery by equipping their resources with understanding of their business processes and promote the culture of continuous improvement. Eben Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd positions itself as partner to departments such as Productivity SA and NYDA (National youth development agency) in rendering business services and mentorship to SMME’s.

Jason Mathews
Director
(Bsc. Industrial engineering)
Jason has over 10 years’ work experience in the energy and chemicals industry. He enjoys leading teams to develop and deploy business strategies on a tactical and operational level. He has evaluated business cases for capital and operational expenses. He has facilitated business optimization workshops. Jason also has applied business analysis skills to ensure integration between process, technology and people. He has the ability to coordinate initiatives and projects across multi-functional divisions.
With an industrial engineering foundation, he enjoys managing others in achieving excellence in all that they do. He enjoys coaching and empowering team members to identify value drivers, productivity improvement initiatives, potential risks and methods to eliminate waste. He is passionate about implementing projects in a collaborative manner to be effective and efficient. Majority of his experience has been in a Shared Services business, which aims to provide efficient and effective services at a competitive price.
Over 3,5 years Jason, has established a Consulting and professional services company rendering management consulting and Industrial Engineering services to SMME’s, Business optimisation and HR departments.

Mpho Mathews
Director

Mpho has over 7 years’ work experience in the energy and chemicals industry. She is passionate about implementing and embedding Human resources policies and procedures amongst employers and their employees.
As a People and Organizational development consultant, she responsible to coordinate HR strategies across the organization.
STRATEGIC IMPERATIVE
Through collaboration with our customers, Eben Business solutions (PTY) LTD sees ourselves different from traditional consultants, but rather an extension of the customer’s improvement team.
Although our time with our customers may be seasonal, it is important that opportunities identified are well embedded and the next phase of continuous improvement is triggered by the customer themselves. It is critical that best business practices implemented should benefit both the employer and employees.
As our team is diverse, there is still a common understanding and values that we operate with that ensures that we are cost effective and efficient in our execution of projects.
Eben Business solutions (PTY) LTD encourages internship programmes to support the Youth of South Africa to acquire practical experience in business development and management. Eben Business solutions (PTY) LTD has partnered with the IOS Group to train interns studying Business administration. With our accounting internship, we provide practical exposure and insight into showing them how finance impacts other parts of the organisation.
